- Magnetic loop antennas
MLAs are now being used not only in short-wave bands but also in VHF and UHF bands. If compared with a cheaper wire dipole, more demanding MLAs must offer an important advantage in operation, otherwise the growing number of happy users cannot be explained. The controversial success of MLAs is surprising as the new MLAs are quite costly commercial products on antenna market. We will try to explain the advantage and application preference for each model separately.
MLA-B KIT duo
1 290.00 €The MLA-B (Big) are two square loops connected in series, with a side length of 2.5 m (20 meter circumference). This antenna have been testing at 1.8 and 3.5 MHz.
MLA-B KIT mono
1 090.00 €The MLA-B (Big) are two square loops connected in series, with a side length of 2.5 m (20 meter circumference). This antenna have been testing at 3.5 MHz.
MLA-T PRO v.4
899.00 €A low-power balcony antenna for 160-m, 80-m, 60-m and 40-m band Magnetic loop antenna MLA-T (Magnetic Loop Antenna Top Bands) is operation with power up to 100W and designed mainly for portable use on 160m, 80m, 60m and 40m bands.
MLA-C v.5 KIT
748.00 €MLA-C v.4 KIT is replaced by MLA-C v.5 KIT for the same price. The frequency range is extended by two additional bands, 10 MHz and 14 MHz, similar to the newer, smaller size MLA-V KIT.
MLA-V KIT
698.00 €Small, Foldable, Transportable The magnetic loop antenna, MLA-C, has been modified and optimized by computer modeling, to achieve an optimum size and efficiency. MLA-V is designed for operations at 3.5, 5.3, 7, 10, 14 and 18 MHz, with input power up to 100 W. It is tuned remotely by a DC motor driving a high-voltage variable capacitor, by a CB4M driver unit using an intelligent PWM mode.
MLA-M v.9
449.00 €The oldest and best sold two-turn magnetic loop antenna developed by OK2ER. Its wide-band function achieved by a patented design is just excellent. No other MLA is available on the world market that can offer such wide-band coverage. This antenna is designed for QRP operation, 10 W at 3.5 MHz, 20 W elsewhere.
MLA - S (MMT) v.4
398.00 €Advantages of MLA-SMART can be best described as „ small, light-weight, low-cost, wide-band.“ Max usable RF power input: 40W max on all bands. Operating SW Bands: 80m, 60m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, CB. Antenna tuning indicator. Tripod not included.
MLA-S (light QRP) v.3
398.00 €Advantages of MLA-SMART can be best described as „ small, light-weight, low-cost, wide-band.“ Max usable RF power input: 10W max on all bands. Operating SW Bands: 80m, 60m, 40m, 30m, 20m, 17m, 15m, 12m, 10m, CB. Antenna tuning indicator. The loop does not need support with reinforcing cables. The antenna loop cannot be twisted to a small diameter. Tripod included, notebook bag not included.
