Magnetic Loop Antennas Comparison

All types of antennas listed below are designed to work with power up to 100W.
It tunes the antennas to the remote control - CB4M. One CB4M unit can be used to control all of our antennas - for example if you use your antennas with a switch. Because it is useless to buy multiple CB4M units, all antenna prices are presented also without CB4M.

MLA-M v.5

The oldest and best sold two-turn magnetic loop antenna developed by OK2ER. Its wide-band function achieved by a patented design is just excellent. No other MLA is available on the world market that can offer such wide-band coverage. This antenna is designed for QRP operation, 10 W at 3.5 MHz, 20 W elsewhere.
Antennas are delivered with an individually filed test protocol.

MLA-M v.5 KIT

The oldest and best sold two-turn magnetic loop antenna developed by OK2ER. Its wide-band function achieved by a patented design is just excellent. No other MLA is available on the world market that can offer such wide-band coverage. This antenna is designed for QRP operation, 10 W at 3.5 MHz, 20 W elsewhere.
As a semi-kit, not assembled, this antenna is delivered without a test protocol.

MLA-T PRO v.3

The second oldest and best sold four-turn magnetic loop antenna developed by OK2ER. It is destined for a compromising operation at the lowest short-wave amateur bands 1.8 and 3.5 MHz.
Adding the next two bands (5.3 and 7 MHz) is done like in the MLA-M by shorting two turns. Band switching is done manually. The antenna is tuned by a remotely controlled high-voltage variable capacitor using a DC motor with a flexible coupling. Tuning control utilizes PWM in the CB4M driver unit. There is no similar antenna capable of 1.8 MHz operation on the world market.
Antenna is delivered with an individually filed test protocol.

MLA-C v.3

Is robust magnetic loop antenna designed for mobile operation at 3.5 MHz band up to 7 MHz. It is much more effective, than mobile vertical antennas. Antenna is remotely tuned using smart control unit CB4M designed for so called bandspread tuning. Inside is a DC with 1:600 gear set connected to the axis of high voltage tuning condensator. Tuning speed is controlled by sophisticated software using PWM. On 7 MHz band MLA-C delivers very good performance. On 3.5 MHz band, there are few compromises. Main disadvantage is costly way to transport the antenna to customer. The advantage is an easy and fast assebly, from unpacking to the full operation in minutes.
It is ideal for /m, /mm operation It can be mounted on a flat roof to serve as a base antenna, if there is no other option.

MLA-C v.4 KIT

Derived from previous model MLA-C v.3. It was redesigned so that it can be disassembled and transported easily. There is no difference in other paramteres from MLA-C v.3. However extended antenna cannot be transported on the car roof. Assembling the antenna after transportation takes little longer than with MLA-C v.3 but not longer than dozens of minutes. Considered small transportation size of MLA-C v.4 it is suitable for use in attics, and generally rooms with narrow passages.

MLA-C v.5 KIT

Again, developed from previous model MLA-C v.4. Construction of this antenna is industrially protected solution by LOOPER SYSTEMS s.r.o., which extends the use of this antenna to another bands, up to 14 MHz. In practice this means adding two bands 10 MHz and 14 MHz. This original solution is with no compromises at all. In normal use at10 MHz and 14 MHz bands MLA-C v.5 KIT is not any different when compared to common no gain antenna. But takes up much less space.

MLA-V KIT

The magnetic loop antenna, MLA-V KIT is smaller MLA-C type antenna, which has been modified and optimized by computer modeling made by (JG1UNE), to achieve an optimal size and efficiency. MLA-V is designed for operations at 3.5, 5.3, 7, 10, 14 and 18 MHz bands.
